Skeleton of A Giant Whale

This large skeleton of a whale mounted on poles can be seen on the coast of Los Silos, Tenerife, Canary Islands.

The 30 feet long skeleton belongs to a Sei whale whose carcass had washed ashore. These whales  are one of the largest whales after the blue whale and the fin whale.

The skeleton has been displayed publicly to create environmental awareness.
