Road Roller Sculpture, Vancouver

Google Street View

While roaming the Google Streets found this red road roller sculpture at the intersection of Thornton Street and National Avenue in Vancouver, Canada.

The sculpture installed in 2004 is an art work of artist Richard Prince and shows an old Buffalo Springfield road roller with silhouette figures of road workers. The road roller was used in 1930s/40s for construction of roads in the city.
