Reverse One Way Sign, Detroit

This reverse one way sign on the John R St. at the junction with E Kirby St. near the Detroit College of Art must have caused few motorists to drive down the wrong way. I wonder how many were given the ticket?

Ridiculous Road Sign For Speed Control At Six Precise Times

A ridiculous road sign on Bogie Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan, which tells motorist to slow down during 6 precise timings 6:49-7:15 AM, 7:52-8:22 AM 8:37-9:07 AM, 2:03-2:33 PM, 3:04-3:34 and 3:59-4:29 PM.

Not only the car's watch or the driver's watch (if he/she is wearing one) has to be precise but the driver has to keep track of the time also so as to adhere to the speed limit.

High Theft Area Warning

Location: Northern end of Farrington Highway, near Kaena Point State Park, ‎Mokuleia, Hawaii. Being an isolated area I presume it must be having high incidence of car thefts or break-ins.

Till recently this was the Western most point reached by the Google Camera Car. However Google have now gone further west on the bridle path, probably using their Trike.

Truth or Consequences - A Town with A Strange Name

Believe it or not - A town in New Mexico, is officially named as "Truth or Consequences".

As per Wikipedia;

Originally named Hot Springs, the city changed its name to Truth or Consequences, the title of a popular NBC radio program. In 1950, Ralph Edwards, the host of the radio quiz show Truth or Consequences, announced that he would air the program from the first town that renamed itself after the show. Hot Springs won the honor.

Ham is a small hamlet near the town of Sandwich in Kent UK. The names of two places written together makes an interesting and funny sign.

Alien on Extra Terrestrial Highway (NV 375) USA

Location of Alien: Near Crystal Springs, Extra Terrestrial Highway (NV 375). The route has been officially named as "Extra Terrestrial Highway" due to many UFO sightings along this lonely stretch of road.
