A nice mural at the intersection of Viale della Libertà with Via Roma in the commune of Castronuovo di Sant'Andrea, Italy. The painter has nicely utilised the round corner of the house.

Queen Elizabeth Mural, Belfast

While roaming the Goggle streets found this elegant mural of Queen Elizabeth on the side wall of a house at T-Junction of Rockview Street with Frenchpark Street, Belfast, Northern Ireland.

No details are available about this mural.  This probably is one of the many loyalist murals in the town with Royalist theme.

This giant arch in the Halmtorvet area of Copenhagen, Denmark is yet another remarkable Trompe l'oeil which deceives the eye and gives an impression of being real.

Mona Lisa Side Ways Mural

Ever since Leonardo da Vinci painted Mona Lisa, she has been copied/replicated in one form or other.

Here is a rare side ways pose of Mona Lisa on a mural in Short North, Columbus, Ohio. The mural was originally painted in 1990 by local artist Brian Clemons and has since been restored twice - once in 2001 and then in 2005.

Nice Trompe L'Oeil in Montpellier, France

Here is a nice trompe l'Oeil mural in Montpellier, France.

Trompe l'oeil
(French meaning 'deceive the eye') is an art technique in which the painting produces an optical illusion and the depicted objects appear real and three dimensional.

Notice that expect for the waitress, all other persons and objects in the background are NOT real and are actually part of the large mural. Even the large glass window is not real.

A mural showing popular actress Lucille Ball, of "I Love Lucy" fame. The mural depicts a scene one of her most famous comic episode - "Lucy Does a TV Commercial" for "Vitameatavegamin" health tonic.

The mural is located in  Jamestown, New York, the birthplace of Lucy.

While roaming the streets of Corleone, Italy, came across this nice wall painting at Discesa Santa Maria, Corleone, Sicily, Italy.

The mural depicts nearby Cathedral Church dedicated to San Martino.

Incidentally the fictional Corleone family patriarch Vito Corleone (The Don) of the famous movie Godfather, belonged to Corleone, Sicily.
